The Lyle Lovett Concert in Providence
A Dads with ADHD adjacent story:
My wife and I went to see Lyle Lovett in Providence, RI on July 29, 2023, and I forgot to take my ADHD medication. It was a particularly eventful evening for us, but especially for the drummer, Russell Kunkel.
This was the 1st time I've ever met LL, and he gave my wife and me the biggest smile as we said hello.
Alternate greeting I wished I'd said to him: "Did you have trouble parking too?"
I believe the other musicians also got rained on, but Russ was the one who brought it up. Leland Sklar blamed himself for causing the leaks by crawling around the ductwork for his video (available on Youtube).
They don’t call it Providence for nothing.
